Swiss watchmaker Favre Leuba has returned to the U.S. market with flair, unveiling the Deep Raider Revival x Timepiece 787, a neo-vintage limited edition crafted in collaboration with the Puerto Rico–based watch platform and collector community, Timepiece 787. With only 25 pieces available worldwide, this release is as exclusive as it is evocative of Favre Leuba’s storied past.

Inspired by the brand’s 1964 Deep Blue, the Deep Raider Revival offers a modern reinterpretation that merges heritage and contemporary design. The standout dial features a “bullseye” sector-style layout, a hallmark of 1960s tool watches, enhanced with a deep blue surface punctuated by subtle red accents; a nod to the colours of the Puerto Rican flag.

“The sector-style ‘bullseye’ layout creates visual depth while reinforcing legibility,” explains Kim Siegel, Favre Leuba’s Product Designer. “The palette also nods to vintage printing tones, with red accents used to draw the eye to key details.”

The watch’s instrument-inspired DNA is carried through applied quarter-hour indexes and generously lumed hands, ensuring clarity both above and below the surface. A discreet “Timepiece 787” signature at 9 o’clock seamlessly integrates the collaboration into the design without compromising the watch’s heritage.

Favre Leuba has paired the Deep Raider Revival with both a classic five-link stainless steel bracelet and a bespoke hand-crafted leather strap from Parisian artisan Jean Rousseau. Known for high-end artisanal craftsmanship, Rousseau’s strap adds a refined touch, while easy interchangeability enhances the watch’s versatility for collectors who appreciate both performance and elegance.

The closed stainless steel caseback is engraved with “Super-Waterproof” and “Limited Edition; One of 25”, while the Favre Leuba emblem has been subtly reimagined to feature the “787” numerals at its centre.

“This is our first collaboration with a collector-driven platform,” says Patrik Hoffmann, CEO of Favre Leuba. “Timepiece 787 represents a passionate and highly knowledgeable community. Developing this edition together reflects our commitment to engaging directly with enthusiasts as we expand our presence in the United States.”

The launch was celebrated at an exclusive collector event in San Juan on February 26, bringing together leading regional enthusiasts to honour a watch that embodies purpose, character, and durability.

With the Deep Raider Revival x Timepiece 787, Favre Leuba not only revisits a cherished 1960s icon but also reinforces its philosophy: a diver’s watch is more than a tool; it’s a lifestyle statement, meticulously crafted for those who appreciate history, design, and craftsmanship in equal measure.
