Ice, Ice… Hublot? The Big Bang Winter Editions Arrive
Hublot introduces two Big Bang Unico Winter editions that capture icy elegance through bold materials and advanced watchmaking.
Winter has a way of sharpening the senses. Colours feel cleaner, sounds carry further, and time seems to slow just enough to let detail come into focus.
Hublot has leaned into that atmosphere with two new creations, the Big Bang Unico Winter Sapphire and the Big Bang Unico Winter Titanium Ceramic.

Both watches draw on familiar elements from the Big Bang family and reinterpret them through the lens of the colder months, featuring crisp tones and materials that reflect the season's clarity.
The idea of seasonal editions is now well rooted in the Maison’s identity. What began with summer-themed models has grown into a yearly rhythm, each release adding another expression of mood and place.

The winter editions follow that tradition while bringing their own character. The details are subtle but deliberate, from the ice-toned palette to the snowflake-shaped oscillating weight that echoes the theme without feeling whimsical or forced.
A Sense of Place
Hublot mirrors the watches with a programme of events set in destinations that define the winter lifestyle for many collectors.
Zermatt, Courchevel, Cortina, Aspen, and St. Moritz are the settings for private previews and gatherings that bring together ambassadors, friends of the brand, and long-standing clients.

These locations represent the blend of sport, culture and ease that runs through the winter season at its most refined.
Two Different Expressions of Winter Light
The Winter Sapphire edition, limited to thirty pieces, has a case and bezel crafted entirely from sapphire.
Seen in natural light, it gives the impression of a watch cut from solid ice. The transparency reveals the movement within, which suits a piece that is meant to feel open and airy rather than ornamental.

The Winter Titanium Ceramic edition, limited to two hundred pieces, takes a different approach. The microblasted titanium case brings a soft grey tone that feels calm and understated, while the white ceramic bezel adds brightness without overpowering the overall look.
Both watches share a forty-two millimetre case and come with Hublot’s One Click system, allowing a quick change between white or ice blue rubber-lined calfskin straps depending on the setting or the moment.

A Clear View of the Movement
Inside both editions is the Unico calibre HUB1280. It is a modern movement with a set of clever solutions that prioritise precision and reliability. Features include dual horizontal clutches, an anti-trembling mechanism and a seventy-two-hour power reserve.
The architecture is visible through the skeleton dial, which gives the watch a sense of depth and adds to the feeling of transparency that defines both models.

Hublot’s use of materials is an important part of the story. The brand’s work with ceramics has produced impressive levels of hardness and colour stability, while its development of sapphire has led to new finishes that are both clear and resilient.
These watches are examples of what happens when technical expertise is given room to influence aesthetic choices rather than simply support them.
Designed for Those Who Appreciate the Season at its Best
These editions capture a mood that resonates with collectors who enjoy the quieter moments of winter as much as the more energetic ones. They feel suited to days that begin on a mountain and end in a warm room with good company.
Hublot has not tried to reinvent winter with these models. Instead, the brand has taken familiar elements of the season and distilled them into two clear and confident designs.
