Louis Erard and Vianney Halter Make Time Fun Again
Louis Erard and Vianney Halter unveil Le Régulateur II, a 178-piece worldwide edition with a refined dial, riveted bezel and Swiss artistry.

Louis Erard brings its celebrated collaboration with independent watchmaker Vianney Halter back to the stage with the Le Régulateur II – Worldwide Edition.
Limited to 178 pieces and priced at CHF 4,500 (excl. tax), this release refines the hallmark regulator display with a new silver monochrome dial and sharper details, once again blurring the line between mechanical art and pure horology.
Case and Presence
The 43 mm case is crafted from stainless steel, with a mix of polished and circular satin-brushed finishes. Its stepped bezel carries twelve polished red-gilt 5N rivets, each serving as a subtle hour marker and reinforcing the watch’s mechanical personality.

The crown is placed at two o’clock and features a matching rivet detail. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides ensures clear visibility, while a sapphire caseback reveals the movement within. Water resistance is rated at 5 bar (50 m / 165 ft), offering practical protection for everyday wear.
Dial and Hands
The rhodium-plated dial is circular, satin-brushed with diamond-polished chamfered chapter and counter rings. The base is vertically brushed, with black transfers, the Louis Erard logo at two o’clock, and Vianney Halter’s at eight o’clock.

The composition is unmistakably Halter’s work, combining technical precision with a sense of kinetic depth. His signature electric-blued steel hands complete the display, with the central minute hand commanding attention in the classic regulator style.
Movement and Function
Powering the watch is the Sellita SW266-1 automatic regulator calibre, visible through the exhibition back.

The movement offers central minutes, off-centred hours, and small seconds, with a minimum 38-hour power reserve. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it delivers robust reliability while staying true to the spirit of traditional Swiss watchmaking.
Strap and Comfort
The piece is fitted with a dark blue grained calf leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching and a black leather lining. It uses quick-release (ergot) bars for effortless strap changes and secures with a polished stainless-steel pin buckle.

This combination ensures comfort on the wrist while adding a discreet touch of refinement.
Exclusivity for the Collector
The Worldwide Edition is produced in just 178 pieces, making it a rare and desirable object for collectors who appreciate independent watchmaking with a clear design identity.
With its balanced proportions, distinctive riveted bezel, and finely executed dial, this edition celebrates Louis Erard’s mission to offer characterful haute horlogerie at an accessible level and Vianney Halter’s ability to transform a regulator into a conversation piece.
