This year marks an important moment for Panerai with the introduction of its first Luminor bronzo tool watch. The Luminor Marina Bronzo PAM01678 is a bold evolution of the Maison’s signature design language.
It unites the robust architecture of the Luminor collection with the expressive character of bronzo, a material that honours the brand’s nautical heritage while offering modern performance.
The 44 millimetre bronzo case is paired with a gradient blue dial that shifts from deep maritime tones to lighter shades that recall sunlit water.
It is a composition that feels both refined and elemental. As the alloy encounters seawater, air, moisture, and friction, it develops its natural patina, which is the product of surface oxidation.

Panerai’s bronzo is an alloy of copper and tin engineered with precision. Its formulation contains 8 per cent tin with exceptionally low impurities. This composition provides high resistance to wear along with impressive strength and versatility.
Crucially, the alloy supports the gradual development of patina without altering the integrity of the material. It also limits further oxidation, which allows the protective surface layer to deepen in character without compromising performance.

The watch is water resistant to 50 BAR or approximately 500 metres and is tested at a pressure significantly higher than its guaranteed depth to assure absolute confidence.
