Raymond Weil Celebrates 50 Years with the Millesime Small Seconds Tuxedo

As Raymond Weil marks its 50th anniversary, the Maison revisits a classic with the Millesime Small Seconds Tuxedo, a refined, Art Deco–inspired reinterpretation of its award-winning sector-dial design.

Previously recognised with the Challenge Prize at the 2023 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, this timepiece combines contemporary sophistication with formal elegance.

The Tuxedo-inspired dial revives the bold two-tone contrasts and structured geometry of the Art Deco era.

Three colourways offer distinct expressions: black and white for timeless elegance, midnight blue with black for subtle depth, and red grape paired with light grey for a daring modern twist. The small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock, framed by a recessed ring, adds depth and balances the 39 mm stainless steel case.

Attention to detail extends to the multi-layered dial architecture. A glossy lacquered index ring emphasises legibility, while a satin-brushed central disc with a structural crosshair and raw V-shaped groove references industrial Art Deco motifs. Silver-tone hands with Super-LumiNova® ensure visibility in low light, marrying style with functionality.

Completing the design, a satin-brushed and polished bezel, transparent case back revealing the movement and W-shaped oscillating weight, and a genuine calfskin strap with discreet W-shaped stitching reinforce the Maison’s identity and craftsmanship.

With the Millesime Small Seconds Tuxedo, Raymond Weil celebrates half a century of independent watchmaking, combining heritage, elegance, and contemporary refinement in a watch designed to endure.
