Remembering Giorgio Armani and His Watch with Parmigiani Fleurier
Remembering Giorgio Armani through his 2022 collaboration with Parmigiani Fleurier, a refined watch collection rooted in elegance.

The passing of Giorgio Armani marks the end of an era in fashion and design. For decades, he embodied an idea of elegance built on discretion, purity, and refinement.
What is less known, yet deeply telling of his vision, is the way he extended this philosophy into the world of fine watchmaking.
In 2022, Armani unveiled Giorgio Armani 11, his first collection of high watchmaking, created in collaboration with the Swiss manufacture Parmigiani Fleurier.

The number eleven was not chosen by chance. It refers to Via Borgonuovo 11 in Milan, the historic heart of the Armani universe.
Limited to just 200 pieces, the collection expressed Armani’s mastery of timeless style. Its square dials with softened edges, lunar details, and subtle tailoring references brought a sartorial spirit to the wrist.

Each watch was powered by an automatic movement and offered in steel, rose gold, or yellow gold, paired with fine leather straps. As in his fashion, the result was understated but unmistakably refined.
This partnership with Parmigiani Fleurier was not a marketing gesture but a statement of respect for the values of Swiss horology. It showed Armani’s belief that true luxury lies in craftsmanship, proportion, and longevity.
Today, as the world remembers him, the Giorgio Armani 11 stands as a symbol of his enduring elegance; a timepiece that, like his legacy, will remain timeless.
