Vacheron Constantin has revealed three new interpretations of its Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Ultra Thin, a collection that honours the enduring spirit of classical Haute Horlogerie as the Maison approaches its 270th anniversary.

Presented in an elegant 36.5 millimetre case, the latest additions are offered in 18 carat five N pink gold, 18 carat white gold and a white gold version adorned with diamonds.

Significantly, this debut also marks the first time the Maison has introduced non-gem set Traditionnelle pieces in this more compact size.

Despite its modest proportions, the case measures only 8.43 millimetres in thickness, a testament to the Manufacture’s expertise in creating refined ultra-thin mechanisms.

Each watch reflects the codes of Geneva’s great watchmaking tradition, with a stepped round case, fluted caseback, straight lugs and a graceful, narrow bezel that together evoke the purity of the brand’s classical language while maintaining a contemporary presence.

The dial has been conceived with an emphasis on clarity and symmetry, drawing inspiration from the much-admired Reference 43031 of 1983. A silver-toned opaline surface provides the backdrop for three evenly balanced subdials that display the calendar indications, joined by a moon phase at six o'clock.

Faceted Dauphine hands and elongated baton-style hour markers contribute to the refined and quietly expressive aesthetic.

Each variation carries its own distinctive mood. The pink gold model offers a harmonious tonal ensemble, paired with a deep blue moon phase and matching strap. The white gold edition introduces a gentle contrast through pink gold hands and markers, accompanied by a paler blue moon phase and a light brown strap.

The diamond set white gold version adopts a more understated palette, its discreet elegance enhanced by grain set diamonds and a dark blue strap.

Powering all three models is the Manufacture Calibre 1120 QP, a self-winding movement celebrated for its slender construction and sophisticated perpetual calendar.

Comprising 276 components, it automatically adjusts for the irregularities of the Gregorian calendar and will require no manual intervention until the year 2100.

The sapphire crystal caseback reveals the intricacy of the finishing, from Cotes de Geneve and hand-bevelled bridges to circular graining and a twenty-two carat gold open-worked rotor shaped as the Maltese cross, each element a reminder of Vacheron Constantin’s unwavering commitment to craftsmanship.
