Tissot and Quincy Miller Turn Time into Art at NBA All-Star 2026
Tissot and Quincy Miller transform time into art at NBA All-Star 2026, blending basketball, rhythm, and shared moments in 32 painted watch boxes.
This year’s NBA All-Star is more than just a game. It is a celebration of culture, rhythm, and shared moments. At the center of it, Tissot has unveiled a project that turns time itself into a collective artwork, blending basketball, artistry, and the spirit of Los Angeles.
For the Tissot Supersport NBA Special Edition, former NBA player and visual artist Quincy Miller has reimagined 32 watch boxes as hand-painted works of art. Each box stands alone as a singular creation, like a player on the court, with its own identity and energy. But when the boxes come together, they form a unified artwork—a piece that exists only as a whole. This is more than decoration. It is a reflection of basketball itself, a game defined by teamwork, timing, and collective effort. Each All-Star player will receive one of these boxes, transforming the watch into a shared cultural object. Tissot Ambassador Damian Lillard, despite being sidelined by injury, will join the project through his participation in the State Farm 3-Point Contest, a reminder of resilience and dedication.
Miller’s inspiration comes directly from Los Angeles and its streets. He imagines a basketball court as a living clock. The circular court becomes a dial. The markings act as time indicators. Players in motion become markers of how time is lived, not owned. His palette of layered blues, raw textures, and worn surfaces captures the city’s grit, creativity, and hustle—a rhythm embedded in daily life. Time, in Miller’s vision, is not something you control; it is something you move through. That idea mirrors Tissot’s NBA motto: Everyone Gets 24. Twenty-four seconds on the shot clock, twenty-four hours in a day, and a lifetime of seconds invested to reach the level of an All-Star.
The watch itself reflects this philosophy. The 45mm black PVD case channels the game’s aesthetics. Jersey-style numeral indexes, a dial echoing a basketball’s grain, and a bezel nodding to the 24-second shot clock all pay homage to the sport’s rhythms. The NBA logo appears on the second hand, while the case back is engraved with the NBA All-Star 2026 Los Angeles emblem, marking this edition as uniquely tied to the event.
Miller’s journey informs his work in every way. From the NBA to Red Star Belgrade, he has experienced elite performance at every level. On the court, he absorbed structure, timing, and collective discipline. Off the court, he translated these lessons into art, embracing rhythm, imperfection, and the power of individual moments to build a larger shared story. His watch boxes reflect this vision—each detail, brushstroke, and texture a nod to basketball’s beauty and complexity.
Tissot’s collaboration with the NBA extends beyond art. Since 2015, Tissot has been a global partner of the NBA, WNBA, and NBA G League, advancing precision, performance, and innovation. This season, the partnership reached a new level with a state-of-the-art timing system and Tissot Shot Clock across arenas, ensuring every second on the court is measured with clarity. Tissot’s presence in Europe, through NBA Games, also strengthens its role in connecting basketball and watchmaking culture worldwide.
The Supersport NBA Special Edition is more than a watch. It is a conversation between time and sport, between movement and art. It is a reminder that precision is not only measured in seconds but in shared experiences, collective energy, and the rhythm of a city where basketball is more than a game—it is life in motion.
